An Affectionate Ramble- EliWell, it’s day 3,973 of living on this massive expanse of nothing, and counting. Each day sees progress I suppose. An apartment complex erected here, or a road paved there, the small improvements only minimally making a dent in favor of life in a lifeless desert. Hm, they already depicted Derpy as a mailmare (in a comic and on the cards), they made a scene with Pinkies watching paint dry (which is suspiciously similar to one of popular and ridiculous fan-fics), so I think it's absolutely possible they could be 'inspired' by your comic
